Ever since the intuitions have put the different subjects in their curriculum in specific limitations the flexibility of study has gone for a toss. So far mathematics is concerned the subject is linked with various social and economic aspects of our society. Thus, understanding mathematics is not only learning the equations or memorizing the tables but to imply the applications on actual instances linked with our daily life. Good maths tutor helps the student to achieve the capability only.
Understanding the Topics:
When we say in depth analyses of the study, it doesn’t mean that the tutor should only highlight on the complicated equations and make it simpler for the students so that he or she may get good marks in the examinations. The trifle the teacher has to face is to ensure that the student gets the ability to apply his knowledge in real life instances. Most of the students do not approach their lessons like this. As a result the student may secure good marks in the school examination, but when it comes to quiz or out of the book question almost 60% step back from taking the challenge.
Problems Faced by the Students:
The real problem is that the student learns only the applications and not the implications of the applications in the everyday life. While buying some items or diving some amount of money the basic rules of mathematics are forgotten. Not only that the student has to be blamed for this lack of knowledge always, but also that the tutors or the tutoring agency is responsible many a time.
A great number of people in European continents accept the fact that they do not have the proper financial literacy as they were not properly guided in the GCSE maths tuition. Different service all around the world have very clearly shown how the conventional math education has become very futile so far bestowing the basic idea of mathematics is concerned. Be it the students, be it the tutors or be it the institutions all are extremely focused on the marks factor. However, the primary focus of mathematics is lost somewhere in between.
What the Facts Say:
Another survey that were done in the month of March was initiated by the Governments National Numeracy Fund and it clearly showed that almost half of the full grown adults were of the notion that their math GCSE hardly did any help in their actual life.
Among them almost 35% faced the fact that as they failed to understand the link up between math and numeracy they had to face challenges in their daily life and therefore they are still looking for learning practical math one again for living properly in their daily life. Although the institution does play a vital role in the overall education of a child, it is true that the home tutor does the maximum works in this case and therefore their responsibility is much higher.
